Want & Need visits STRP FESTIVAL 23rd to 26th of March 06.

Today Want & Need have become confused. Our desires transform what is wanted into something essential. Our consumption can no longer be taken for granted. What I want is ...what I need....

An extensive marketing campaign invited collaborative interaction with C6's gallery exhibit 'Want & Need'. Various media's invited the public to sms their luxuries and necessities to the gallery where digital representations were created with their submitted text.

A straw poll of Norway's Wants & Needs were exhibited at the Kunstnernes Hus, Oslo from February the 4th till march 13th 2005, as part of the touring Detox exhibition. Later that spring C6 installed Want & Need in Manefisken nitespot and again in Stavanger for the Numusic festival later that august.
