Recent C6 business has seen the Dotmasters out and about around the UK. Providing visuals for the Buzzcocks on their recent 30th anniversary tour gave the Dotmaster crew the perfect opportunity to get up on galleries in major towns within the UK.

Galleries exhibiting works include: Arnolfoni Gallery Bristol, Glasgow School of Art, The Watershed Bristol, The Green Rooms Manchester, Cargo, Shoreditch, London, Warwick Arts Center, Coventry and The Baltic Gallery, Newcastle for the 'Spank the Monkey' show . A growing number of these sites are being added to the Dotmasters map so check them out

Ironically the only gallery whose security nearly prevented the installation of this contemporary master piece was The Baltic gallery whose block buster graffiti show 'Spank the Monkey' spills out of the exhibition space. Sheppard fairly's large scale canvases cover car park wall . Mona's appearance on the Baltic's security lodge door opposite Mr fairly's'peace' work was executed with two close calls, while in london the venue cargo cu rated the two works side by side.

In which way does the policy of security reflect the internal policy of each location? How do you reconcile a show of criminals in any sort of security policy? When does art become crime and crime art?
