Incaserated in a 7 foot by 7 foot box for 7 days under constant video and internet survellance. With no food, 15 liters of water, under constant light, the action of the artist know only as Leon was relayed onto television screens both inside the gallery and in the windows allowing the passing public to view Leons movements and behaviour at all times of the day and night.

With only pens and paper to break the monotony Leons gradual mental demise was captured on 168 hours of video, now in the c6 archive.

The event caught the imagination of the media, appearing in the Times, Guardian, Independant, and making appearances both before and after on the BBC news, and channel fours Big breakfast and c6 recieved 50000 hits on their web site a day.

During the week Leons mental state became so disturbed that the gallery was shut for a day as the strain of the performance prompted the artist to berate the visiting public. During his trial Leon lost almost two stones
